‘The Living Stage’ – join our premier theatre design study course for people over 55
Age Exchange was built on creativity, reminiscence and theatre, way back when we were founded as a Theatre Trust in the 80’s. This course should delight AE stalwarts and newcomers alike.
The third installment in our ‘Acting Up at Our Age‘ series of affordable, informative adult education courses for people over 55, ‘The Living Stage’ looks at how shows are designed, and how stage designs bring shows to life.
*No art skills are required as we will work in a variety of mediums – so all you have to bring is enthusiasm and a willingness to enjoy yourself. Age Exchange has a massive backlog of our own productions over the decades, which we are still uploading to our project gallery and as pioneers in reminiscence theatre, expect a bit of anecdotal fun; in addition to exploring histories of stage design elsewhere in the world.
Taking place where else but our Bakehouse Theatre,
NB – From Thursday 29 March, 10.30-12.30 (£40 for 10 weeks).*
*Due to the snow disruption in early March, the start date has been moved back a week in order to accommodate the completion of the current ‘Acting Up at Our Age’ singing course
